When this customer first called & we discussed what she wanted, I told her of a similar project I'd built not long before, and what I'd had to charge for it. She said she'd like to keep it simpler, and less expensive. In the end, it was bigger, bolder, had fancy slide thru drawers, & cost 25% more than the first project I'd done. She's very happy, & I don't think she'll ever need to replace this table. Maple & cherry. 30" x 40" x 2" solid maple top with drip groove all the way around.
The dovetails are all hand cut. These drawers are one cavity, and almost as wide as the table, so they can slide both sides.
